Hi, it’s Clay from Ghazala Hashmi’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor. I’m writing with an important update about our April fundraising goal.

Our deadline is tomorrow, and we need to raise $10,000 before then. With just over 24 hours left until the deadline, here’s where things stand:

On average, about 1,000 people read each of our emails, so if everyone reading this chipped in just $4.60, we would reach our goal in no time.

Can you donate that amount (or more) right now? If not, we’ll need to ask someone else for $9.20 to make up the difference.

Here’s the deal: Fundraising benchmarks like these make the difference in campaigns like ours. Our polling shows that most voters in this race are undecided and unaware about the candidates and the stakes of the race.

But once they hear Ghazala’s message, voters overwhelmingly support her.

The money we’re raising right now will fund our efforts to talk with voters all across the Commonwealth, share Ghazala’s message, and turn out voters on Election Day — less than 50 days from now! 

But if we start missing fundraising goals now, we might never be able to catch up.
