Myanmar

When emergencies strike, you help ensure we’re there. After a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar in late March, Save the Children teams worked around the clock with local partners to distribute essential supplies — food, blankets, tents, drinking water and hygiene kits — to families who lost everything.





Sudan

Nafeesa* lives in a displacement camp after fleeing conflict in Sudan. She received prenatal checks, support to deliver her baby and postnatal care from a Save the Children mobile clinic.



When families have nowhere else to turn for essential care, you help ensure we’re there. As continued conflict in Sudan forces families from their homes and leaves them without access to necessary health care, Save the Children’s mobile clinics provide treatment for diseases, vaccinations, maternal and newborn health care, malnutrition management and psychosocial support.





Indonesia

Lewotobi students sit in their new temporary learning space. Their school is part of an emergency response effort by Save the Children and local organizations to provide better access to education for children in crisis.



When learning is disrupted, you help ensure we’re there. In November 2024, Indonesia’s Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano erupted, destroying schools and forcing children to learn in tents. We worked with local partners to establish a community school so children could get back to learning in a safe space. When the volcano erupted again last month, we worked to ensure children’s education wasn’t disrupted by distributing back-to-school kits.
