John,
Emerge alums across the country are stepping up to run for higher office and lead their state!
As the Trump Administration continues to push extreme policies that threaten the checks and balances safeguards in our democracy, Governors will be a critical line of defense against reckless federal overreach.
In 2025 and 2026, we have the opportunity to build on our success and more than double our Gubernatorial caucus!
|
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs was the first executive director of Emerge Arizona and broke down barriers after winning the Arizona Governor’s race in 2022. In Guam, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero is the first woman to hold that position.
Now, Emerge alum Sec. of State Shenna Bellows is running for governor of Maine, joining Emerge alums Rep. Abigail Spanberger, Sec. Deb Haaland, and Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis, who are running for Governor in their states of Virginia, New Mexico, and California.
By making early strategic investments in strong women leaders and building lasting networks of support, we can change the face of leadership in this country!
Will you invest anything you can today to help us recruit and train more women candidates to lead their state as we work to continue building up power and expanding our Gubernatorial caucus?
