John,
we're officially 100 days into Donald
Trump’s second presidency, and he’s no longer even trying to hide his
authoritarian agenda.
He’s ignoring a 9-0 Supreme Court order to facilitate the return of a
wrongly deported man, threatening to jail “homegrown” U.S. citizens in El
Salvadoran labor camps, openly floating the idea of a third term, and
empowering billionaires like Elon Musk to ransack the federal government.
If this is what the first 100 days are like, we’re in for a long four
years — and it’s critical that we continue to speak up and resist this
administration’s authoritarian agenda every step of the way.

end-of-month deadline to help Pramila keep up the critical work she’s been
doing to fight back and protect our democracy?

100 days in, it’s clear that none of us can afford to sit this moment out.
Democracies die in a matter of months, which is why it’s critical that we
act *now* to prepare as many people as possible to defend ours.
That’s exactly why Pramila started the Resistance Lab. And after just a
few weeks, more than 20,000 people from over 38 states have signed up to
be a part of the training.
We’re educating folks on what democratic backsliding has looked like in
other countries, what the most successful nonviolent resistance tactics
have been, and more — all of it in preparation for possible mass
mobilization in the moment it’s needed most.
This work is critical to defending our democracy from Donald Trump in the
short-term. And in the long-term, it’s how we’re going to build a mass
movement of workers across the country to defeat MAGA at the polls and
create a government that finally puts working people first.
[ [link removed] ]But John,
none of it is possible without your support. So with our end-of-month
deadline coming up tomorrow, please pitch in $3 — or
whatever makes sense for you — to help us reach our $39,000 goal and keep
it up.
