The Trump administration is deporting students for their political views. They’re threatening to strip the tax-exempt status of any nonprofit that challenges him. They’ve arrested a judge they accused of thwarting federal agents.
At any moment, we could be next. Our nonprofit journalism, though strictly nonpartisan and independent of any party, is very possibly a target for the right-wing fascists now operating at the highest levels of the U.S. government.
The only way we’ll make it through these dark days is by sticking together, but we’re not going to lie: time is running out.
