Promises made, promises kept.

Isn’t it remarkable that President Trump has accomplished more in 100 days than Joe Biden managed to do in four years?

Since his inauguration on January 20th, President Trump has worked at lightning speed to get our country back on track by implementing his America First agenda. But folks, it’s just the beginning. There’s still more work to be done and wins to look forward to as my conservative colleagues and I work with the Trump Administration to codify executive orders, slash government spending, and deliver historic tax cuts to the American people.

Rest assured, the next 100 days will be filled with advancing more conservative priorities and commonsense policies in our shared goal to make America stronger, safer, and more prosperous once again.

Rep. Clyde Tours Food Bank of Northeast Georgia

Last Thursday, I visited the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia to tour its Athens branch and discuss ways we can work together to best serve folks throughout the Ninth District. As you may know, the organization partners with more than 230 groups across its 15 county region in order to serve food and assist local communities. The food is processed and delivered to these supporting organizations from the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia’s Athens and Clayton locations. From Oconee County up to our very own Rabun County, the Food Bank does remarkable work to support and feed folks throughout our North Georgia communities.

As you know, the National Football League (NFL) recently wrapped the 2025 NFL Draft. This annual event allows NFL teams to improve their rosters, largely by acquiring new talent from eligible college football players. Georgia routinely dominates in the number of native players drafted into the NFL, and this year was no different. More than 20 players from the Peach State were selected by pro football teams, including the following with ties to North Georgia:

After two wonderful weeks in our beautiful Ninth District, I’m back in Washington to consider the following pieces of legislation:

• H.J.Res. 89: Under the Congressional Review Act (CRA), this joint resolution of disapproval would put an end to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) decision to allow California to implement its most recent nitrogen oxide engine emission standards, which create burdensome and unworkable standards for heavy-duty on-road engines.
• H.J.Res. 88: This joint resolution of disapproval would reverse the EPA’s decision to approve a waiver granted to California allowing the State to ban the sale of gas-powered vehicles by 2035.
• H.J.Res. 87: This joint resolution of disapproval would overturn the EPA’s decision to approve a waiver granted to California allowing the State to mandate the sale of zero-emission trucks.
• H.J.Res. 78: This joint resolution of disapproval would repeal the Biden-Harris Administration’s listing of the longfin smelt as endangered under the Federal Endangered Species Act.
• H.J.Res. 60: This joint resolution of disapproval would block a National Park Service rule that prohibits the use of ORVs and street-legal ATVs on 24 miles of park roads in Glen Canyon Recreation Area.
