The Lone Star Film Faceoff Final Results
Faceoff Winner Dazed
This past month we launched the inaugural Lone Star Film Faceoff on our Instagram and our followers definitely made their voices heard.
Competition was tough each and every day, but eventually 64 contenders were whittled down to two finalists in a head-to-head matchup between a pair of the most highly regarded films in the Texas canon: "No Country for Old Men" and "Dazed and Confused."
Richard Linklater's much beloved hangout flick ended up taking the crown by a hair, making "Dazed and Confused "our first-ever Lone Star Film Faceoff Champion, but don't worry if you set your hopes on a different contender — there's always next year!
Make sure to follow us on Instagram [ [link removed] ] to keep up with future installments of the Lone Star Film Faceoff and head to our TFC Letterboxd [ [link removed] ] page for a breakdown of the whole bracket.
