George Rice served his country after 9/11, and now he’s serving up some of the
best craft beer in Texas. George and his team of fellow veterans started 5x5
Brewing Co. in Mission, Texas, and turned it into the biggest manufacturing
brewery in South Texas.
Their secret?
Hard work, military discipline, and, yep, the 2017 Trump tax cuts.
The tax cuts allowed George and his crew to write off equipment costs, which
helped themgrow their business, give employees raises, hire more workers, and
brew more of the handcrafted beer their customers love. But now, all that
progress is at risk.
If Congress doesn’t extend the tax cuts in 2025, small businesses like 5x5
Brewery will face rising costs.
Brewing craft beer is a delicate art.
Breweries, along with many of the small businesses that create high-quality
products you love, will face rising challenges if their expenses go up. Some
