The NRA is falling apart — and even Donald Trump doesn’t feel like he owes
them anything anymore.

For the first time in nearly a decade, Trump skipped the NRA’s big annual
convention.

Why? Because the NRA is broke, corrupt, and losing power fast.

It sounds like good news — and in some ways, it is.

Our movement helped bring the NRA to its knees. Years of young people
marching, organizing, and demanding better forced America to see the NRA
for what it is: a machine built on blood money and lies.

But make no mistake,
John. The danger isn’t over.

Trump might be ditching the NRA, but he’s still working every day to
destroy the gun safety progress we fought for.

* He’s attacking the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.
* He destroyed the White House Office of Gun Violence Protection.
* He’s rolling back gun violence prevention research. 
* He’s making it easier for domestic abusers to get guns.
* He’s still doing the gun lobby’s bidding despite ditching the NRA.

This fight isn’t about one organization—the gun lobby is much larger than
just the NRA. It’s about an entire culture of violence, greed, and
political cowardice that we are working to dismantle.
