Hi folks,
When he was running for office, President Trump made a lot of promises. And in just his first 100 days in office, he’s managed to break almost all of them…
He campaigned on bringing down prices on Day One. Today, a dozen eggs costs over $6—up 60% from a year ago. Now, Trump's changed his tune, saying he ‘couldn’t care less’ if his tariffs and economic policies raise prices even further.
He vowed to end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. Instead, he’s cozying up to Putin, abandoning Ukraine, and losing the trust of our European allies.
He said he would make our country safer. Instead, our chief national security leaders discussed war plans and highly classified information over text—putting our troops and our country in danger.
He said he's committed to the rule of law. Yet, his administration has illegally deported three U.S. citizen children to Honduras, and he's defying court order after court order.
Instead of working to solve our biggest challenges, Trump is pursuing an agenda of retribution: attacking universities and law firms he deems to be working against him.
Folks, this isn’t the leadership we deserve.
Michael has fought Trump at every turn. He is leading a bipartisan bill to reign in Trump's power to impose these shortsighted tariffs. He led the fight to keep American funds flowing to Ukraine in their battle against Putin. Michael has repeatedly called out the Trump Administration for their unconstitutional deportations. He has used his role on the Senate Intelligence Committee to demand Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and DNI Tulsi Gabbard resign over the Signal chat leaks and repeated security breaches.
But the solutions won't always come from Washington. That’s why Michael is running for Governor.
