The first 100 days of the Trump administration have been disastrous for working families. House Leader Hakeem Jeffries is hosting an important event to highlight the impact of this administration and how we can chart a path forward.

AFGE members are encouraged to attend this event TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 30 and wear your blue and gold!

Important event details are below.

You are invited to attend an address by Leader Hakeem Jeffries on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The location is forthcoming, but will be in Northeast Washington, D.C.

Arrival time:

Doors will open no earlier than 9:15 a.m.

All guests must be seated by 10:00 a.m.

*Note: all seats are first-come, first-served

Bag Policy:

Large bags, in excess of 18" wide x 14" tall x 8.5" deep, are not allowed in the venue.

Prohibited Items:

  • Liquid of any kind, including water and other beverages, will not be allowed inside of the venue.
  • Weapons, firearms, pointed objects or other objects deemed a possible threat are prohibited.
  • No signs are allowed into the venue.

Cell Phones:

Cell phones are allowed, but we ask they be kept on silent.

Upon arrival to the venue, please check in at the welcome tables with your name and the name of your organization. You will receive a wristband that must be worn during the entire duration of your time at the venue.
