Authoritarianism is on the rise

Trump is willfully flouting a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling and refusing to bring an innocent man home from a foreign prison and give him due process.

Checks and balances are NOT OPTIONAL in our constitution, but the GOP is caving — we need a House Democratic majority.

John, Donald Trump thinks he’s above the law. In fact, he’ll tell you he’s a king. But the truth about Donald Trump is plain in any U.S. courtroom: he’s a loser.

That’s right: alongside our allies, we’re taking the fight to Donald Trump in court. And we’re winning.
  • Stopping Trump’s attempt to freeze federal funding for children and seniors
  • Preventing Elon Musk from illegally accessing our Social Security numbers
But Trump is hitting a new low by ignoring the rule of law with his horrifying mass deportation efforts. He’s chipping away at the foundation of our democracy: checks and balances.

And the GOP leadership is allowing it to happen.

House Dems are standing united and doing all we can to be a firm check on Trump’s abuse of power. But we’re extremely busy fighting back in Congress, so entities like AWP are more critical than ever to keep our ground game strong.
