Dear John,
The first 100 days of any new presidential administration bring change. But for many families here in Pennsylvania, these last few months have felt especially turbulent—marked by uncertainty in everything from our healthcare system to our economy to our foreign relations.
As a physician-legislator, I see firsthand how the chaos in Washington echoes in the lives of local families and the healthcare we rely on. Uncertainty around the future of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid expansion has left patients and providers in limbo. At the same time, volatility in financial markets, tariffs, and questions about infrastructure and job growth have added stress to already stretched households.
I’m constantly knocking doors and talking to my constituents, and I’ve heard a consistent message: People want steady leadership, practical solutions, and a sense that someone is fighting for them against the chaos from the failed first 100 days of the Trump Administration.
That’s exactly what I’m doing in Harrisburg. I’m focused on:
* Protecting access to affordable healthcare for all Pennsylvanians
* Supporting economic policies that grow opportunity and strengthen small businesses
* Advocating for investments in education, childcare, and job training
In times of rapid change, we need leaders who listen, act with compassion, and base their decisions on evidence and experience. Not the chaos we’ve been seeing.
