John, it’s
officially been 100 days since Donald Trump was sworn in as president for
the second time. We know, we can’t believe it either…
He and his far-right administration have spent the past 100 days launching
a full-scale attack on our judiciary, unleashing a tidal wave of cruel and
illegal executive orders while undermining the other branches of
government. So far:
🔴 Trump’s FBI arrested a judge in Wisconsin last Friday, and his Attorney
General threatened more arrests for anyone who stands up to his mass
deportations.
🔴 His administration is skirting court orders, including a 9-0 U.S.
Supreme Court ruling to facilitate bringing Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an
illegally deported father imprisoned indefinitely in El Salvador without
due process, back home.
🔴 He signed an executive order attacking private law firms that previously
sued him, his administration, or his allies. Many of these Big Law firms
caved and are now providing nearly $1 billion in free legal assistance to
appease his administration.
🔴 Trump and his team, including billionaire advisor Elon Musk, have
verbally attacked judges who’ve ruled against him and in some cases called
for their impeachment — something Congressional Republicans have
introduced legislation to do.
Trump wants us to be disoriented and demoralized by now, but we see
through his plan, and we’re not giving in.
We won’t give in to apathy, we won’t let Trump make himself a king, and we
will keep fighting back.
Demand Justice is taking concrete actions to stand up to Trump, expose his
enablers, and build public pressure to protect our judiciary.
