Hi, John — It’s Alexander Vindman. I am reaching out today with an important request.
Many of you know our story, but I want to take a moment to remind you why Eugene’s fight matters so much.
Over two decades ago, Eugene and I swore an oath to protect this country when we joined the U.S. Army. In 2019, we honored that oath by blowing the whistle on Donald Trump’s corrupt phone call with Ukraine, an act that led to Trump’s first impeachment and ultimately cost us our military careers.
Eugene refused to let Trump stop him from serving our country. He ran for Congress — and thanks to this grassroots team, he proudly represents Virginia’s 7th District today.
But Trump never let go of his vendetta against Eugene. Since re-entering office, Trump has used every weapon in his arsenal to attack Eugene.
Trump’s unhinged minions are seeking retribution against Eugene — an attempt to smear him and force him out of Congress. And the attacks haven’t stopped.
Why? Because Trump knows Eugene has the courage to stand up to him. And that terrifies him.
This campaign isn’t just about Eugene; it’s a movement about defending the truth, standing up to abuse of power, and protecting the very core of our democracy.
We can’t let Trump — or anyone else — silence Eugene’s voice. Eugene will continue to hold Trump accountable, like we did all those years ago, and he will continue to fight to defend our democracy. But he cannot do so without your support.
So I am sincerely asking:

Every donation helps show that grassroots Americans will always stand up to fascism, and your support today means more to Eugene and me than you can imagine.
