Today, I’m standing up for New Hampshire in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee — and I’m not mincing words:
If you are here illegally, you are not welcome in New Hampshire.
That’s the message House Bill 511 delivers.
HB 511 bans sanctuary cities in New Hampshire. It prohibits local governments from shielding illegal immigrants from federal immigration authorities. It ensures that when someone is arrested for breaking our laws, law enforcement will cooperate with federal authorities to remove them — not protect them.
This is about public safety. It’s about upholding the rule of law. And it’s about sending a clear signal that New Hampshire will never become a sanctuary state.
The people of New Hampshire expect their government to defend them — not lawbreakers. HB 511 puts New Hampshire citizens first.
I am proud to lead this fight, and with your support, we are going to make sure this bill becomes law.

We either enforce our laws — or we invite chaos.
