This is a tough time in the year, folks.

The reality is that odd year elections are harder to raise funds but are just as important, especially for Pennsylvania in 2025. Unfortunately, judicial elections are overlooked by the electorate in the Commonwealth and low turnout in judicial election years can be credited to low information/civic education around the elections, the judicial candidates and the roles judges play in defending democracy in general. In order to change that, we must INVEST in year-round civic education and engagement.

Our voter engagement does not stop after a presidential election - our staff continues to engage Pennsylvanians year-round as we know that consistent civic engagement is the way to truly build community power, increase voter turnout, especially in odd year elections, and expand the electorate.

NPP is grateful to have received multi-year funding that has allowed us to maintain our staff and programmatic efforts through the early parts of 2025; however, we rely on grassroots support to continue providing consistent voter engagement throughout the year.

We need your help not only to maintain our current level of operations but also to ramp up as we prepare for the crucial Supreme Court retention elections and other judicial, local and municipal elections in Pennsylvania. And here’s the thing: We have only a few days left to reach our April fundraising goal and fully take advantage of an incredible match opportunity,

Thanks to a generous angel donor, all donations up to $50,000 will be DOUBLED, but we have to move quick. Will you help support our voter education and mobilization work by rushing $25 or whatever you can now and have 2X the impact?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:Donate $25 = It becomes $50 ([link removed] $50 = It becomes $100 ([link removed] $100 = It becomes $200 ([link removed] $250 = It becomes $500 ([link removed] $1000 = It becomes $2000 ([link removed] YOUR DONATION TWICE AS POWERFUL → ([link removed]
Here is how your support will help:

Protect Voting Rights: Between Trump’s regime working to pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require prospective voters to show proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote and, as a result could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters, and similar bills working their way through the legislature in PA, we are going to need all hands on deck to protecting our freedom to vote. As a voting rights organization, we are vehemently opposed to any additional barriers to the ballot box, and we will continue to advocate for the expansion of voting rights to ensure all eligible voters are able to vote in every election – twice a year.

Defend the Judiciary: Now more than ever before, we must ensure that our state and federal courts remain fair and independent. When the legislative branch and the executive branch usurp their authorities and prioritize the interests of billionaires over the well-being of the people, it is the courts that people have historically turned to for justice. That is why we must work together to protect the independence of the judiciary, especially from other branches of government (aka Trump).

Whether it’s ensuring that PA has fair congressional maps, protecting voting rights, or protecting access to abortion, all impact our daily lives, and it’s critical that people understand how important the courts are and how they’re protecting our rights and freedoms.

Help us make that a reality by donating $25 or whatever you can today and have 2X the impact. You read that right: If you give $5 it will become $10, $25 it will become $50, $50 will become $100, etc. This is the best time to donate and ensure we can mobilize voters to participate in our democracy today →

Together,

Team NPP
