Friend, Donald Trump is in Michigan right now to mark his first 100 days in the White House. And for so many Michiganders, these have been some of the most damaging 100 days of their lives.

Trump's shoot-from-the-hip, change-by-the-minute tariffs are threatening tens of thousands of jobs.

Big-ticket costs like housing and cars have skyrocketed. Meanwhile, grocery bills are continuing to rise.

He gave the richest man in the world – his buddy Elon Musk – access to our most private data, including our Social Security numbers and bank account information. 

Now, he's slashing funding for programs that millions of people rely on – like Meals on Wheels, which gives our seniors and our heroic veterans hard-earned benefits.

I'm running for U.S. Senate because Michiganders deserve a senator who will have their backs and protect their families from Trump's chaos agenda. Because Republicans in the Senate have shown us that they aren't willing to lift a finger.

Experts predict that my race in Michigan will decide Senate control, which means the GOP is coming after me as a top target for defeat. After Republicans spent nearly $80 million last year in an attempt to flip this battleground red, you can bet that they're ready to spend even more this time around.

I can't fight back without the grassroots support of folks like you. But right now, I'm still way short of my $100,000 rapid-response fundraising goal.
