Hello John,

I hope you are keeping well.

I want to ask for your help with an important campaign NYCI is running to ensure Government is aware of the need to increase investment in young people and youth work ahead of Budget 2026.

As part of this year’s YouthWorkersChangeLives campaign, NYCI is gathering real-life stories from youth workers and young people alike to show why increased Government investment in youth work is essential.

We want to highlight the life-changing impact of youth work across generations – and that starts with the people delivering it every day.

I'm a young person - I want to learn more! >>
I'm a youth worker - tell me more! >>
We need people who are:
  • Passionate about youth work and its power to change lives

  • Good storytellers, who are confident and comfortable in talking about their experiences

What we will be asking you to do:
How you can help:

If you have a story to share, please do register for one of the sessions above. If not, please contact any young people or youth workers you think might be suitable and share this opportunity with them.

Thanks so much as always for standing with us. You're part of an incredible community supporting young people across Ireland. Together, we’re changing lives.

Kind regards,

Grace
