In 2022, people were on the move. After a pandemic-era slowdown, immigratio=
n rebounded, with over 2.6 million people moving to the US through legal ch=

sia, followed by North America at 29% and Europe at 14%.=E2=80=AF=C2=A0

- Why are people immigrating to the US? Forty-one percent of immigrants cam=

he US arrived from North America. Thirty-three percent came from Asia and 1=

Today=E2=80=99s veterans reflect America's evolving demographics. The numbe=
r of living veterans is declining while the veteran population is getting m=

- As of 2023, 15.8 million Americans (6.1% of adults) were veterans. That n=
