On Saturday, thousands of you joined Jon Bon Jovi in wishing Cory a happy birthday.

And on Sunday, we were hoping to surprise Cory with his birthday card to show him just how much it means to everyone that he’s standing up, speaking out, and fighting for justice, opportunity, and accountability.

In typical fashion, Cory had other plans.

Cory spent all day on Sunday sitting on the Capitol steps with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for a livestreamed conversation about how to show up, speak out, and stand up in this moment.

This month, folks from across the country stood up with Cory and sparked a movement. And as the Trump administration continues its attacks on our democracy, the rule of law, due process, and working families — Cory isn’t wasting a second to keep this movement alive. Not even on his birthday.

Cory is building a campaign to lift up people’s voices so we can elect Democrats across the country.
