Last week, Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum ordering Attorney General Pam Bondi to launch a baseless investigation into ActBlue – the primary fundraising platform for Democrats nationwide. This move could shut down this vital resource at any moment. Let’s be clear: this is a dangerous and partisan attack on Trump’s political opponents.

Here’s the issue: ActBlue is how Democrats to raise the money needed to fund their campaigns – from phone banking and canvassing to rallies, advertising, and get out the vote operations. As a top Democratic supporter, you know that grassroots supporters like you donate on ActBlue to help your favorite Democrats build lasting infrastructure and win elections.

Trump knows it too. And with Americans already fed up with his chaotic agenda that’s driving the economy off a cliff, he’s trying to take the power out of the hands of grassroots donors and voters like you and give away the keys of our democracy to Republican-funding billionaires like Elon Musk.

The 38 governors’ races in 2025 and 2026 are our last line of defense against Trump’s abuses of power and executive overreach – and without the ability to fund campaigns through ActBlue, these races would be a lot harder.
