Democratic AGs sue Trump over tariffs
— Politico, April 2025

NEW YORK — New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James and the top prosecutors of 11 other states are suing President Donald Trump for instituting a flurry of tariffs they say have “upended the constitutional order and brought chaos to the American economy.”

PITCH IN TO ELECT DEM AGs

Last week, our Dem AGs filed a multi-state lawsuit against the Trump administration to block reckless tariffs that will raise prices on everyday goods for Americans. Then on Friday, a coalition of Dem AGs sued the Trump administration again to block the withdrawal of funding from K-12 schools that don’t comply with their anti-diversity policies.

In case you weren’t keeping count, we’re now at 19 multi-state lawsuits filed since Trump was sworn in just three months ago.

This work couldn’t be more important, team — but to continue this momentum and fortify our efforts, we need your help.

Will you contribute $19 to fight back against Trump and elect Democratic Attorneys General?

Our AGs won’t sit by silently and allow Donald Trump, Elon Musk, or any other leader to defy the rule of law.
