Her dad Rich said, “At 22 months is when we first discovered the brain tumor … she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma… they found a softball size tumor in the middle of her brain.” Brain surgery one week after her diagnosis was followed by multiple rounds of chemotherapy.

“Hospital life was a little over a year, and it was a lot of sacrifice on both me and my wife, Eugenia, and especially Florence. She lost her twos and threes due to cancer,” Rich shared.

Once she was healthy enough, Florence was granted a wish: to have a play farmyard at her school!
