I first ran for Congress because I saw the disgusting corruption and dysfunction coming out of Washington, where politicians take large checks from powerful corporations and then vote however they need to keep the cash coming.
That’s not how we do things here in Maine. I took a pledge to refuse corporate PAC money - because the only folks I am beholden to are my constituents.
