About the job
As a Security Operations Center Officer, you will be at the forefront of campus security operations, utilizing advanced technologies such as Genetec CCTV systems and building automation tools to monitor for safety concerns. Your role will involve responding to and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services, and maintaining clear and accurate shift reports and incident logs. You will also conduct forensic video reviews, provide surveillance support for campus events (which may include nights and weekends), and assist in managing threat levels and initiating lockdowns when necessary. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a proactive approach to safety and security.
