But the chemical industry is seeking immunity from such suits through state law. This year, we’ve been fighting the Iowa Cancer Gag Act, and this month, the bill died in committee! The fight isn’t over yet — the ag chemical industry has pushed similar bills in other states and at the federal level. But this is a huge victory for Big Ag accountability and for Iowans suffering at the hands of this industry.
