 This is not the kind of email we love sending, but we’re being honest. We could really use your help this week. Here’s why: National Republicans have already declared Dave Min a top target for defeat, we’re up against an end-of-month fundraising deadline in just 48 hours, AND we’re still $8,441 short of our April fundraising goal.
But if you need more convincing — and we completely understand if that’s the case; we know you probably get tons of emails from other campaigns — then here are three things we’d like to share very quickly: 1) Unlike some other Democrats, Dave isn’t afraid to take the fight directly to Trump. He’s fighting back to protect our health care, he’s standing tough against Trump’s attacks on LGBTQ+ people, and he’s working every day to protect our public schools, our Social Security, our jobs, and everything that Trump is determined to destroy. 2) Dave knows that fighting back against Trump’s agenda makes him a top GOP target. The NRCC and other right-wing super PACs spent MILLIONS to try to defeat Dave in the last election, and the strength of this incredible grassroots team is what prevented them from succeeding. They’re going to try even harder this time around and we need to be ready. 3) The road to the House majority runs through CA-47. National Republicans and National Democrats don’t agree on much these days, but they do agree on this: there are very few truly competitive congressional districts left, and this is one of them. Whichever party wins this race in 2026 is highly likely to win control of the House. In other words, National Republicans KNOW they need to beat Dave Min to maintain their grip on power. They KNOW he is a major roadblock to achieving their agenda of ripping off working families to help out a bunch of billionaires — and they’re already gearing up to spend millions to flip this district red.
