What a great two weeks of activism and discussion at the recent peace camp organised by Lakenheath Alliance for Peace!
Thanks to everyone who took part across the two weeks, including the 250 peace activists who helped successfully shut down the main gate of RAF Lakenheath during Saturday's blockade.
In addition to protesting the return of US nuclear bombs to Britain, the camp drew attention to the base's role in supporting Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people, as well as how Lakenheath - and the wider network of US military bases - are driving climate breakdown.
We’re going to keep on protesting at these bases to stop the rising threat of nuclear weapons. We want an end to US bases in Britain!
You can find some photos from the blockade on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Please give them a share to help raise awareness about the campaign. You can also read some coverage of the blockade on from the BBC, East Anglian Daily Times, Suffolk News, the Canary, and Morning Star.

A nuclear weapons-free Middle East: how do we get there?
The UN's nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Preparatory Committee starts in New York today and will run until 9 May. This year's meeting comes as talks towards a renewed Iran nuclear deal progress tentatively - but backed by Trump's threats of bombing Iran.
Join CND tomorrow to discuss how we can build support for a nuclear weapons-free zone in the Middle East and help transform the security situation through peaceful cooperation and dialogue.
