DSA National Convention:

SacDSA Delegate Nominations Now Open!

The National DSA Convention is upon us, and SacDSA will send 7 delegates (plus 1 alternate) to represent our chapter!

The DSA National Convention will be held in Chicago from August 8th to 10th.

If you want to nominate yourself as a delegate, please submit the form linked below BY MAY 11th*.

The delegate nominations and information about their candidacy will then be distributed to all dues-paying members of DSA Sacramento after the deadline.

Delegate elections will then take place online via OpaVote starting May 12th*, ballots will then close 19th* with the results to follow. If the election is competative, a Single Tranferable Vote count system will be used to tally the ballots.
