   John,
the Resistance Lab is about building real
power together and learning the most effective ways to counter democratic
backsliding. We’re absolutely thrilled that more than 20,000 people so far
from over 38 states and even some other countries (!) have signed up to
take our Resistance Lab 1.0 training.
Now, we’re ready to offer the next 2.0 training to dive even deeper. You
can join our first-ever Resistance Lab 2.0 Training on Sunday, May 4 from
11am — 12:30pm PDT. [ [link removed] ]Make sure to RSVP and reserve your spot today!

In our first round of trainings, we heard from experts about the pillars
of support that authoritarian leaders rely on, and how nonviolent
movements emerge to challenge authoritarian leaders. And we only scratched
the surface of the most effective tactics to fight back.
Our 2.0 level training will go even further. We’re going to dive deeper
into the institutional pillars that are propping up the Trump
administration's agenda. We’ll explore different ways to erode those
institutional pillars of support and successful tactics already being used
across the country. And we’ll have time for you to meet people around the
country in smaller groups to explore actions we can launch together.
You can attend virtually from anywhere, and you can even [ [link removed] ]sign up to
host a house party with your friends and family to participate in the
training together. This allows you to get people in the room from your own
neighborhood and be able to brainstorm ideas you can move forward together
right there. If you sign up to host, a member of our team will reach out
with all the tools and resources you need to be successful.
We are also continuing to offer our Resistance Lab 1.0 training — the next
one will be June 1. [ [link removed] ]You can sign up for that one here.
Remember: Around the globe, people have fought back and won. Democratic
nonviolent movements have kicked out authoritarians time and time again.
   We can too.
Dictators and authoritarians count on people’s helplessness in the face of
repression. We won’t let that happen. We’re here to help educate about
effective non-violent resistance frameworks, and to inspire hope and build
community — and save our democracy.
   So John, don’t
miss out. [ [link removed] ]Sign up to attend our first Resistance Lab 2.0 training on
Sunday, May 4, and get ready to resist!
   In solidarity,
   Team Jayapal
