With Trump and Republicans gutting funding for the Social Security Administration, healthcare, and veterans’ programs, we have to make sure that Democrats win back the House next year and put a stop to the reckless policies of the Trump administration.

That work starts with defending this seat right here in Western PA. I’m Chris Deluzio, and I’m the only Democrat holding a battleground seat in Pennsylvania.

Republicans are going to spend millions to flip battleground seats like mine to keep their slim majority in the House.

I grew up right here in Western Pennsylvania, in the district I represent, and it’s here where I learned the importance of hard work, service, and love of country. These values led me to join the Navy after 9/11.

My time in the Navy strengthened my love of country and Western PA—and I learned to put the mission and others before myself. That lesson was and is always at the front of my mind now that I’m serving in Congress.

In Congress, I’m fighting for the people of Western PA. I’m working to bring down costs, to make stuff here at home, to lower housing prices, and to create new solid jobs. I’m also working to protect Social Security and Medicare from Republicans who want to gut these programs to line the pockets of corporations and billionaires.

I want to give Western Pennsylvanians a fair shot at the American Dream and fight back against a system that has sold out hardworking families to give a bigger piece of the pie to the ultra-wealthy. But Donald Trump, extreme Republicans, and billionaires like Elon Musk don’t like that.

That’s what’s at stake in this race. With this being one of the closest seats in the country, we need to make sure we have the resources to protect this seat when attacks come our way.
