After months of failing to lead on COVID-19, Trump is planning to return to Arizona following a week of condemnation for ordering the tear-gassing of peaceful protesters so he could have a photo-op.

The reason for his upcoming visit? To check on his border wall near Yuma, Arizona.

That’s right. In the midst of a global pandemic, record unemployment, and mass outrage over systemic racism in law enforcement and in our country, Trump’s priority is the construction of his border wall.

Trump’s visit – which comes as COVID-19 cases are rising in Yuma – is the latest stark reminder that he has repeatedly failed Arizonans and our country, creating more crises and solving none of the problems he promised to fix.

This November, Arizonans have the power to stop Trump from winning a second term, but only if we have the resources we need to reach, register, and turn out every Democratic voter in the state.
