While Donald Trump is busy nursing grudges, tearing down the federal government, and grabbing for more power, Governor Walz is doing the opposite: bringing people together and lifting up voices that are being ignored.
When the chair of the NRCC told Republican lawmakers to stop holding in-person town halls, Governor Walz hit the road. He’s holding town halls across the country to hear from people who’ve been abandoned by their representatives.
As Governor Walz’s finance director, it’s my job to keep the budget on track so he can keep doing all of this important work. And with our next end-of-month deadline coming up on Wednesday, we’re still trailing our goal by more than $17,500.
