At 10,600 people per square mile, Redondo is far denser than Seattle, Portland, San Diego. Yet Bay Area legislators, led by Scott Wiener, seek to jam Redondo and 800 cities with dense luxury housing. None will be spared, whether South L.A, East Los Angeles, Paramount, Santa Barbara, Pico Rivera, Santa Clarita or Fresno.

Disputing the lessons of COVID19, legislators are doubling down on Wiener’s failed theories to create affordable housing. They seek to kill:

single-family zoning
density limits
public hearings
environmental protection

Those are the “moderate” bills. Many bad bills are rushing through committee. We ask that you donate to Livable California today as we ID and track the bad bills and alert the public to act.
