Did you hear that?! Completely eliminated! Donald continued — in ALL CAPS so you know he means it: "It will be a BONANZA FOR AMERICA!!! THE EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE IS HAPPENING!!!" If anyone thinks the federal income tax will be replaced by tariffs being indiscriminately slapped on hundreds of trade partners (and uninhabited islands!) we have some authentic Trump Steaks marinated in Trump Vodka wrapped in a Trump University diploma buried in a deep freezer we'd like to sell for the low, low price of one million bucks.

Clearly, anyone upset about America's precipitous slide into fascism is a radical, left-wing plant, probably obviously funded by George Soros. Trump, channeling his inner Kim Jong Un, continued: "You must allow your audience to know what you are up against, or else they will think they are Republicans, and that there is dissension in the Party. There is not, there is only LOVE and UNITY. Republicans are happy with what is taking place in our Country. We all love America!"

During an appearance on NBC News' Meet the Press yesterday, independent Sen. Bernie Sanders said American democracy was in a state of crisis and lambasted rapidly growing wealth inequality. "That is insane. That is oligarchy on steroids." Uh, more like steroids, amphetamines, and growth hormones, supplied by a criminally corrupt, wannabe king openly tipping the scales ever more in favor of the ultra-wealthy at the expense of literally everyone else. But we digress. Bernie's antidote? Recruiting more average, working class folks to run for office and breaking the two-party stranglehold on American politics. "You want to run as a Democrat? Great. You want to run as an independent? That’s great, but you've got to get involved in the political process because right now the two-party system is failing the working class of this country," he explained.

More than 100 people — including at least a dozen active-duty servicemembers — detained after federal raid in Colorado Springs
More than 300 law enforcement officers from at least 10 federal agencies raided an illegal after-hours nightclub in Colorado Springs early on Sunday, arresting more than 100 people authorities said were undocumented immigrants and seizing guns, cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine. More than a dozen active-duty military members were detained as well, authorities said. Jonathan Pullen, the DEA agent in charge of the raid, told reporters at a news conference that some detained servicemembers were patrons while others were working as armed security guards at the underground nightclub. Pullen said the nightclub had been under investigation for several months for alleged activities including drug trafficking, prostitution, and "crimes of violence."

Wife of US Coast Guard member arrested over expired visa after security check for military housing in Florida
The wife of an active-duty Coast Guardsman was arrested earlier this week by federal immigration authorities inside the family residential section of the US Naval Air Station at Key West, Florida, after she was flagged in a routine security check, officials said Saturday. According to a US official, the woman’s work visa expired around 2017, and she was marked for removal from the United States a few years later. She and the Coast Guardsman were married early this year, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an enforcement incident. Nice to know Donald's draconian crusade to purge immigrants from America is now ensnaring the spouses of US military servicemembers charged with protecting and defending our country. Surely this will have no impact on wider troop morale.
