A few short weeks ago, the House of Representatives narrowly passed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) radical $3 trillion spending spree that would lead America towards socialism.
Now it is time for you to tell your U.S. Senators to completely reject Pelosi’s massive and wasteful spending bill.
While our nation continues to reel from the coronavirus pandemic, Pelosi is predictably trying to take advantage of the crisis to ram her Socialist agenda through Congress. Her bill, H.R. 6800, the so-called Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act, is the most expensive and wasteful piece of legislation we have seen in CCAGW’s 36-year history.
Tell your Senators to stop H.R. 6800.
The bill has hundreds of billions of dollars in wasteful spending completely unrelated to the coronavirus crisis, bails out state and local governments after decades of wasteful spending; and contains new programs and mandates that will make it far more difficult for the nation to recover from the impact of the pandemic.
If passed, it would double the amount of money already being spent to help the country recover from the pandemic, greatly expand the size, scope, and control of the federal government, and threaten our individual freedom and liberty.
If the Senate begins to work on its own bill to address the coronavirus pandemic, it is absolutely essential that they reject the waste and special-interest giveaways in Pelosi’s bill and only include temporary, targeted spending.
Contact your U.S. Senators right now and demand that they oppose Pelosi’s radical, Socialist plan. It will only take a few minutes of your time.
