Hi,
June is a time to honor love, acceptance and our resilience as a community — and right now, at such a pivotal moment in our history, that message could not be more important.
We need love. We need to heal and to stay motivated in our work to create change. Here is something to remind us of that.
Last year, we debuted our LOVE hat at Pride. It quickly sold out then because its message is simple and poignant. That’s why we’re bringing it back just for you.
Start your membership with the Human Rights Campaign with a donation of just $25 today to get yours. Or, join our grassroots force of monthly supporters by giving $5 and get your hat as our thank you.
It’s a small token of our gratitude but we hope you wear it with pride — through 2020 and beyond — and that it sends a message to all those who see it: Love is more powerful than hate.
By joining HRC’s membership ranks today, you’ll help improve the lives of LGBTQ people through HRC’s work to:
- Defend Our Progress and Advance Equality. June represents a monumental month for expanding LGBTQ rights throughout our history. We must protect our progress in the courts and in Congress. (We’re still awaiting decisions on 3 U.S. Supreme Court cases where LGBTQ equality is on the line.)
- Fight Injustice, Voter Suppression and Oppression: Whether through initiatives like “Vote Equal. Vote Safe.”, our efforts work to stop the violence against transgender women of color, or our ability to mobilize against oppression.
- Unite for Victory in November’s Elections. Winning back the White House has never been so urgent. But we must also take back the Senate and win key races in battleground states.
- Defeat Discriminatory State Laws and Policies. By flipping statehouses like you did in Virginia, we can stop discriminatory policies from becoming laws, and enact laws to protect LGBTQ people and advance equality at the local level.
There is so much work to do — and our success depends on people like you joining with us. So please donate before Pride month ends.
Thank you so much for being a part of the HRC family. You give us hope for a brighter future.
