Thank you to all who attended last Saturday's monthly meeting.
We spent the first hour of the meeting reflecting on the
Black Lives Matter movement as well as brainstorming on actions 350 Chicago can take to be an ally in this movement and an ally to environmental justice groups in Chicago. For those of you who could not attend, please feel free to review
this list of action items, and email us if you are interested in participating in any of these. Also, feel free to share suggestions for additional action items.
During the last half hour of the meeting, we heard from
Beam Project regarding the their work on educating about the value of cleantech innovation and their crowdfunding tools for supporting cleantech startups. A special thank you to our guest and presenter Adria Wilson.
We look forward to continuing our work on climate change and strengthening our actions against racial injustice.
