Kentucky’s economy is booming, we’re attracting thousands of good-paying jobs, making record investments in our infrastructure, delivering clean water to communities that have for far too long been overlooked and underserved and positioning our Commonwealth as a global leader in electric battery manufacturing.

The Kentucky success story stands in stark contrast to the chaos, dysfunction and division we’re seeing in Washington, D.C.

In November 2023 in Kentucky, we did something remarkable. We faced off against Mitch McConnell's protege, who had Donald Trump’s endorsement. We continued to stand our ground and do the right thing—and we won because of it.

With everything that is going on in our country, the American people are desperately seeking leaders who will stand up for what is right, reject partisan games, and lead with compassion and decency.

In Kentucky, I won reelection because I stuck to my values: I stood firm for abortion rights by vetoing four anti-choice bills, along with every single anti-LBGTQ+ bill that came to my desk — including one of the nastiest anti-trans bills in the entire country. I’ve used executive orders to ban conversion therapy statewide and to restore voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians.
