Dear Friend,
 
In tonight’s debate, Anthony Albanese tried to blame global factors for the cost of living and energy crisis experienced under his government. 
 
Yet under Labor, Australia’s core inflation has been higher than any major advanced economy. 
 
And Australia has had the biggest fall in living standards in the developed world. 
 
Under Labor, Australians are paying some of the highest energy prices in the world. 
 
This is despite promising 97 times before the last election to reduce prices by $275.
 
They have since increased by up to $1,300 more than promised. 
 
Albanese deflected blame for the housing crisis. 
 
Yet in two years, Labor brought in a record 1 million migrants – 70% higher than any other two-year period – with not enough housing. 
 
And the government’s signature housing policy hasn’t built a single home. 
 
Albanese wouldn’t even give a straight answer on whether he still believed in the Voice. 
 
On the economy, inflation, housing and security, Labor has failed. 
 
Albanese is too weak to take responsibility. Peter Dutton and the Liberals will. 
 
The Liberals will provide immediate cost of living relief. 
 
This includes reducing petrol tax by 25 cents a litre and providing tax relief of up to $1,200 for most taxpayers. 
 
Our plan will also lower energy costs and build a strong economy. 
 
We will provide real help for first home buyers, including making interest payments tax deductible. And we’ll restrict foreign investors to free up more homes.
 
We’ll protect Australians, by boosting defence and getting tough on organised crime. 
 
With your support, the Liberals will get Australia back on track.
