There are many urgent and necessary conversations happening in the black community, the labor community and the progressive community around the death of George Floyd and the impact of COVID-19. We hope to engage in a real and productive discussion on what’s going on, and how the labor movement can participate in a broad and meaningful way in the movement for black lives, while fighting for the economic essentials that are necessary to avoid further racial inequity and injustice.
