Growing up, I faced off against more than my share of bullies. So believe me when I say, I know a bully when I see one.
I also know this: as Democrats, we have nothing to gain by cowering in fear and letting Donald Trump and his allies bully the most vulnerable Americans. We need to fight back.
So when Donald Trump and Elon Musk try to rip away your health care in order to give billionaires like themselves a giant tax break, I’m going to do everything I can to stop them.
When Trump illegally sends immigrants to a foreign prison with no due process, in violation of explicit court orders, I’m going to stand up and fight for the rule of law.
And when he tries to blame and vilify LGBTQ+ people to distract from his own failure and incompetence, I’m going to defend every single person’s right to live openly as who they are — safely, freely, and with dignity.
I was elected to fight for families across Orange County, and that’s exactly what I’m going to keep doing. But the truth is, the Republican Party sees ME as one of their biggest obstacles in their quest to give Trump and Musk unfettered power over our nation. They see retaking THIS SEAT as their path to amassing more power.
