The presumptive Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor is embroiled in scandal as sexually explicit photos that are allegedly his were leaked today. 

The Richmonder is reporting that Gov. Youngkin has asked John Reid to drop out of the race. 

While the Republicans attempt to clean up their perceived mess over personal issues and distractions, the media is ignoring the real scandal at hand: 

Both John Reid and Winsome Sears are advocating for policies that are deeply out of step with what Virginians want from their leaders: Cutting health care access, banning abortion, destroying our environment, and making it easier for criminals to obtain deadly weapons. 

The Democrat in the race, Ghazala Hashmi, is committed to doing the opposite. She’s focused on delivering for the people of our Commonwealth by standing up to Trump and Elon Musk, preserving women’s reproductive rights, and fighting to expand health care access. 

So while Republicans are embroiled in scandal, we need to stay laser-focused on running a campaign that matters to real people. We have to ask: Can you pitch in $20 or more to support Ghazala Hashmi’s campaign for Lt. Governor and flip VA from red to blue?

Democrats are fired up to elect a representative who fights for them, not capitulates to Trump and the MAGA movement. Ghazala Hashmi will be that candidate, but she needs your help to get there.
