Today is National Help a Horse Day — a great opportunity to honor and protect America’s wild horses and burros. So today, we’re asking you to join our growing herd of volunteers who lend their voice and dedicate their time to our cause.

Our wild herds are facing urgent challenges. Dangerous, unnecessary helicopter roundups are set to begin again this summer and thousands of horses, burros and foals will be in harm’s way.

But there’s hope — and it starts with you. Will you become a Volunteer Ambassador with American Wild Horse Conservation?
