On Monday, Governor Brian Kemp will sign landmark legislation protecting Georgia’s girls. SB1, sponsored by Senator Greg Dolezal and known as “The Riley Gaines Act” ensures girls’ sports and spaces remain exclusive to girls – free from confused males.

Additionally, this bill defines male and female in Georgia code, providing a huge win in fighting the lies of gender ideology!

Frontline is grateful for the work, leadership, and partnership with Governor Kemp, Sen. Dolezal, Lt. Governor Burt Jones, Rep. Josh Bonner, Speaker Jon Burns and a host of other elected leaders over the years (more below) that have been instrumental in bringing about this day.

To join us for this historic occasion, see the details below:

Date & Time: Monday, April 28th at 1:00 PM (Please arrive by 12:30 PM if possible)

Location: North Wing of the State Capitol, 206 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA, 30334

Other: Business or business casual attire is acceptable. All attendees should be expected to conduct themselves with decorum and appreciation for this incredible moment. If you have questions about the event, please respond to this email. Families are welcome.

It is so exciting to see this day finally come. It represents a great victory for our girls and a major win over significant adversaries. It does not, however, represent a final victory.

The battle over gender ideology continues to rage in our state and around the nation. To help Frontline as we continue to lead the charge, please consider a generous donation to help us reach our $260,000 June 30 goal!

For all your work, prayers, and faithful partnership, we thank you. And, we look forward to this celebration!

Victorious,

Cole Muzio

PS. I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to reflect that this has been a multi-year battle. In 2021, former State Representative Philip Singleton introduced the first bill, got significant support, but saw it go nowhere. In 2022, Sen. Marty Harbin passed a bill, Governor Kemp insisted action be taken, and only a half measure was worked through. The victory we will celebrate Monday is built on the shoulders of leaders who have partnered with us for years. Governor Kemp has been a stalwart. I’m grateful for the leadership of Philip Singleton and Marty Harbin. Legislators like Rep. Will Wade, Sen. Jason Anavitarte, and Sen. Clint Dixon have been especially pivotal – though our allies have been many more. Lt. Governor Burt Jones passed legislation from his Chamber twice, set up a study committee with Sen. Dolezal, and made it SB1 to underscore its priority. And, Speaker Jon Burns joined us at Run2Win to discuss this issue and rallied the entire Caucus behind signing Rep. Bonner’s counterpart bill.

To all those who worked on this, partnered with us, and stood strong, we thank you.
