Ayanna Pressley visited the ICE detention center where her constituent, Rümeysa Öztürk, is being held after she spoke out against the genocide in Gaza. This is one of the most frightening displays of Trump’s authoritarianism, and Ayanna is standing with those being unjustly persecuted:
Ilhan Omar has been calling out the Department of Homeland Security’s plan to monitor the social media accounts of non-citizen residents to track their statements on Palestine and Israel. Freedom of speech is a core American right, and Ilhan is making it clear that we won’t let this administration destroy it.
Rashida Tlaib is holding the administration’s feet to the fire over their attempts to give a free pass to corporate polluters — especially those spreading PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” into our environment. Rashida has already passed amendments and secured over $1 billion for the EPA to combat PFAS contamination – all of which is now at risk under Trump.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just finished another leg of her cross-country rallies. This time she took our fight for justice to some of the reddest areas of the country in Montana, Idaho, Utah, and California because all Americans belong in our movement, no matter where they live. Justice doesn’t stop at state lines, and neither does our Squad.
We can’t lose sight of the bigger picture. Our Squad will never stop fighting to protect our victories from the profit-crazed billionaires running our government.
