Yes, that Karen Handel -- who's run for office in Georgia 12 times (!!!) in the last two decades, but has never served a full term in office. She's the definition of a career politician -- Handel has only ever run for re-election once, when we defeated her in 2018 by just 1%. 

You may have also seen that Handel got a bit angry about the email our team sent out yesterday, which shared some information about her history of voter suppression in Georgia. She even had the gall to reply and claim: "Georgia is a national model for voter integrity," and that she was proud of her work as Secretary of State. 

Well... seems like she missed the news about the absolute failure in election administration and widespread voter suppression in Georgia's primary election yesterday. It was nothing to be proud of. It was shameful.

John, this is why Handel is so dangerous. She's a hardline extremist and national Republicans who support her will say anything, twist any message, falsely attack us in any way they can, and call me names like "Lying Lucy," because they know Handel can't run on her own abysmal record. And, to make matters worse, President Trump won this district by 1.5% in 2016 -- and will be boosting Republican turnout in our toss-up district.

So, John -- as we kick of this general election rematch again Handel, we know one thing for sure: this race will come down to the wire in November.
