Last night Donald Trump took the next step in his effort to go after his
opposition with a presidential memo targeting our fundraising platform,
ActBlue.
Trump has made his admiration of dictators clear in the past, and now he
wants to take another page out of their playbook by attempting to starve
anyone who opposes him of campaign funds.
But let’s get one thing straight: this is still a free country, the people
are still free to support candidates who put working families before
billionaires, and we will continue to run our campaign and grow our
progressive movement whether Donald Trump likes it or not.
As long as I have a voice, I will keep fighting to protect our democracy.
