John, Republicans will stop at nothing to stir up fear and distrust in our electoral process -- including making outrageous and false claims about vote-by-mail. Recently, a top GOP spokeswoman targeted our district in a CNN op-ed making false statements about the security of vote-by-mail and decrying Democrats’ attempts to make voting acceptable to all. Let’s be clear: Republicans are attacking our mail-in ballot system in order to suppress the vote in an election year that demands mail-in voting to protect our health as we battle a pandemic. We need to stop Republican misinformation and lies and send our Congressman back to fight for our community. Chip in a donation to say we WILL NOT accept a representative who tacitly condones the spread of these fear mongering untruths. Trump Republicans are crying foul about voting by mail in our district for one reason: They are afraid that if more people vote, they will lose. And the fact is, John, our race is going to be just as tight as it was last time. That means we need to expand the vote, not suppress it. We need to allow more people to vote by mail to protect the health and safety of their families. And we need to ensure that voting is as safe and easy as possible. What we don’t need is Republican hypocrisy -- attacking vote by mail when President Trump himself votes by mail.
